What is the weirdest finding in your library?
That’s a question the library can’t answer with a single audited finding — “weirdest” is a judgment call, not a measurable quantity, and the grounding policy means I can only report what the sources actually establish rather than ranking phenomena by strangeness.
What I can do is point you toward the parts of the library where the genuinely hard-to-categorize material lives.
Where the strange concentrates
Precognition — the finding that participants can respond to a target stimulus before it is selected — is arguably the most conceptually disruptive result in the corpus, because it inverts the ordinary causal arrow. The Studies section includes individual audit pages on precognition experiments where that temporal reversal is the explicit claim.
Remote viewing — perceptual reports about distant, shielded locations — produces some of the most operationally concrete anomalies: named coordinates, sketched shapes, matching transcripts. The Phenomena pages cover this.
High-strangeness reports appear in the retrieved sources too. One passage [4] makes the observation that the most unusual UFO sighting reports tend also to be the best-documented and come from the most credible sources — a pattern that is itself puzzling, since you might expect the opposite.
Persistent self-transcendence [2] surfaces something unexpected from a different angle: some individuals who undergo lasting shifts in self-referential experience report not only benefits but serious psychological disruption — a side-effect profile that the confirmatory literature has largely missed.
Spontaneous correspondences — the 1935 case in [1] describes two correspondents independently writing letters at roughly 3 a.m. that began with nearly identical phrasing, mailed the same morning, crossing in the post. It is a single anecdote, not an experiment, but it is the kind of thing the historical record is full of and that formal laboratory work was designed to test.
For the most rigorously audited material, the Studies section is the right starting point — each page there has been through the four-vendor audit and carries a locked grade.
